Skit was raised by a wealthy family in a large, barricaded mansion. He never had much contact with the outside world as a kid; his father would leave the safety of their home and scavenge for food and merchandise while his mother kept the house in order. She had an enormous library and spent the majority of her time teaching Skit and his brother, Lester Panacea. By the age of 11, Skit could masterfully recite Shakespeare as well as the Declaration of Independence. Skit's apocalypse took place when he was 12 years old after the death of his parents. When Supplies soon ran short, Skit and Lester set off to find, or perhaps create, a trustworthy community. Skit's overwhelmingly good demeanor offers an authoritative feeling of sorts. He has great leadership skills and welcomes newcomers with open arms. He has a shoulder bag filled with random items, including food for himself and Lester, a watch, a pocket knife, and a book, about buddhist compassion, that he likes to read to people that he stumbles into.
The MPD apprehended Skit on suspicion of planning a revolution and radical redistribution of wealth. They incarcerated and tortured him in the basement of the Tombstone until his brother Lester staged a daring rescue.
